Please join the Friends of the Charlotte Harbor Aquatic Preserves for our annual meeting, March 2, 2013.
This year's topic: Geocaching!
Geocaching is a free real-world outdoor treasure hunt. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using a smartphone or GPS and can then share their experiences online. There are almost 2 million caches and 5 million cachers worldwide. For many, the best part of Geocaching is getting outdoors and seeing natural and developed areas that you normally wouldn't see. The Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park and the Charlotte Harbor Aquatic Preserves are hosts to over 100 Geocaches. Does that sound like fun?
