Larry's wildlife pix: Sandhills

 
You are never quite sure what you might see when you leave the house in the
mornings. I thought I saw some movement by the bush that sat in the middle
of the palm trees in our front yard. I grabbed my Canon for protection and
headed out to find what I thought I had seen. Sure glad I did as I fired off
several bursts when out from behind the tree, ready to attack, was this baby
Sandhill Crane! Mom & dad weren't to far away keeping an eye on things. You
could tell baby was a little ticked because I had cut short his
investigation but mommy found him something more interesting in the grass to
eat.
